The department consists of highly automated SMT assembly lines. The assembly lines are in turn constituted by in-line P&Ps specialized in terms of component type, and are fed by silk-screen printing with automatic deposition control for the deposited pasta. The assembled boards are soldered in 12-zone reflow ovens. Inside the department there are also automatic parametric control (AOI 3D), an X-ray machine and an Automatic Rework station.

Profiling activities are carried out with highly performing TOOLs and are constantly introduced into the production process. SPI 3D checks are carried out on screen-printing activities, sampling current productions according to AQL. The process is completed by the X-ray process test, performed according to IPC reference standards.
